A grade are 95% perfect with very faint faults, if any faults at all
B grade are 80% perfect, hairline splits, bark inclusions, blue stain, and knots, it is still very usable timber.
C grade are 60% perfect deeper splits, bigger inclusions and more defects, more suited to resin projects
