A grade are 95% perfect with very faint faults, if any faults at all
B grade is 80% perfect, with hairline splits, bark inclusions, and knots; it is still very usable timber.
C-grade are 60% perfect, with deeper splits, bigger inclusions, more defects, and more suitability for resin projects.
